This is a fun board in all conditions. I love this board because even if its a deep beach break it can hit the sand and not care.
Lots of float, and volume and really can be ridden in any kind of waves. Jamie O'Brien rides these things in huge waves yet they are meant for beginners in small waves.
Seriously, have some fun with this thing even if its just paddling around
